4th of July & Braving the Fire

This was an interesting show to drive to, as the closer we got to Quincy, the more it looked like it was in the burn range of the Beckwourth Complex Fire, which started June 30th, and would merge into yet another fire in the area days after this show turning into the mega Dixie Fire.

We loved Quincy and are so glad it stayed safe during this wildfire season, we only wished the surrounding towns could have been so lucky. Hopefully we can come do another show when the skies are not so ominous with giant plumes of dark smoke and the atmosphere in the town is not so dependent on which way the wind is blowing.

Overall a great show in the beautiful nature of Northern California, ShuLace is always a pleasure to play shows with – more to come in the future!
